April 12, 2014, at the Great Event Center in Long Beach, officers in Area XII chapters enjoyed a beautiful Spring Conference to install their new officers. Karen Bowen is center stage as she is installed as Gamma Zeta's President for the 2014-2016 biennium.
Behold the Power of the Rose: New Officers and other Gamma Zeta Members joined twelve other Area XII Chapters to install their officers for the 2014-2016 biennium. Area XII Director, Linda Moore, presided and presented the Distinguished Service Award, the Chi State Award, the Area Service Award, the Chapter Service Award, the Penny Ferrell Award, and the Outstanding Student Teacher Award. We enjoyed a program by singer/songwriter Dennis Bryan

Suzanne Fraser (near flag) is being installed as Gamma Zeta's Treasurer for the 2014-2016 Biennium. She is the out-going 2nd VP and is a Past President. Suzanne is a retired curriculum specialist from Paramount Unified School District.
Shirley Lamphear, center, is one of our newest members. She is taking the office of Corresponding Secretary for the new biennium. She is currently teaching Spanish at Paramount High School.
Kimberly Goforth (fourth from the left), is another of our newest members taking an office this biennium. She will take on the office of 1st VP. Kimberly is a 6th grade teacher at Jackson School in Paramount and is active in the Teacher's Association of Paramount.
Angela Loya, (fourth from the left) our current 2nd VP, will retain her office for the new biennium. Angela is a Past President and is a retired teacher from Paramount Unified School District.
